Dal 1978, Rough Trade vende dischi a Londra. Oltre che record store, al marchio fa capo anche un’etichetta indipendente a cui siamo riconoscenti per la pubblicazione di numerosi dischi famosi da ormai molti anni, da Métal Urbain ai Libertines passando per Cabaret Voltaire, The Feelies, The Red Crayola, The Strokes o ancora The Moldy Peaches. In vista della fine del 2014, la boutique che si è espansa oltreoceano aprendo uno shop anche Brooklyn, ha deciso di presentare la propria Top 100 delle uscite discografiche di quest’anno. In cima alla classifica una sorpresa: l’album dei Temples uscito su Heavenly Recordings (UK). Da notare anche le presenze di Todd Terje, Liars, Caribou, Ty Segall, FKA Twigs e Mac DeMarco.
