Questa notte a Los Angeles si sono tenuti i settantacinquesimi Golden Globes , edizione speciale dedicata allo scandalo che ha investito Hollywood negli ultimi mesi.
In questo ultimo periodo c’è stato un evento che ha scosso tutto il sistema di Hollywood e non solo, il caso di donne che si sono opposte e hanno denunciato gli abusi e le molestie subite nominando anche un uomo che ha continuato in questi anni con tutto questo, Harvey Weinstein.
Le donne dietro all’organizzazione Time’s up hanno organizzato un Black Out del Red Carpet di questa edizione dei Golden Globe in segno di solidarietà per le vittime di abusi e molestie dell’industria. In questa serata tutte le dive Hollywoodiane hanno sfilato con abiti di varie sfumature di nero.
Inaspettato da tutti i suoi follower su Twitter la prima attrice a sfilare è stata Debra Messing: “Sono vestita di nero per ringraziare e onorare le coraggiose informatrici che hanno condiviso le loro storie di abusi e discriminazioni” dichiara l’attrice.
Colore del vestito a parte, il trend sul Red Carpet Hollywoodiano è stato l’arrivo delle dive con vari Special Guest, ogni attrice ha camminato al fianco di un attivista. Meryl Streep ha portato Ai-Jen Poo, direttrice del National Domestic Workers Alliance. Laura Dern ha portato Monica Ramirez, co-fondatrice di Alianza Nacional di Campesina e avvocato delle lavoratrici agricole. L’ospite di Emma Watson è stata Marai Larasi, direttrice esecutiva di Imkaan , e attivista del Black Feminist negli U.K. La special guest di Michelle Williams è stata Tarana Burke, fondatrice del movimento #MeToo.
Trionfatore invece di questa edizione dei Golden Globes è “Tre manifesti a Ebbing, Missouri”. Film di Martin McDongh (già vincitore come miglior sceneggiatura a Venezia e premio del pubblico a Toronto) , ha ricevuto quattro premi tra cui miglior film drammatico, migliore attrice (Frances McDormand), miglior attore non protagonista(Sam Rockwell) e miglior sceneggiatura (Martin McDongh).
Tra i favoriti anche “The Shape of Water” che ha ottenuto il premio per la miglior regia (Guglielmo del Toro) e la miglior colonna sonora (Alexandre Desplat).
Come miglior film commedia abbiamo “Lady Bird“, con premio anche come migliore attrice a Saoirse Ronan.
Vincitore invece del premio migliore attore non protagonista è andato a Gary Oldman per “L’ora più Buia”.
Miglior film straniero a “Oltre la Notte” di Fatih Akin, che vedremo in Italia a Marzo.
Il Cecil B. DeMille Award è andato a Oprah Winfrey, tenendo un discorso sul tema dell’iniziativa #TimeIsUp, le molestie e abusi nei confronti delle donne, tema che ha toccato tutta la serata.
